(Ace is seen getting into his truck and continuing on the path. He drives by a few more houses, that are either vacant or the wrong person. Ace finally sees a house in the distance with a truck, getting closer the license plate says “EWA1”. )

(Ace slides to a stop next to Shane’s truck and gets out. He looks around, takes a deep breath, and walks up to the door. )

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK.
(No answer, no sounds from the inside. Ace gets impatient. One more knock, nothing, and he barges in. The place isn’t upkept very well. Ace scans the area, his eyes fighting to adjust to the darkness. A fire is crackling from the other room. Ace walks over to find Shane McMahon slouching on a chair. Ace kicks over something metal and it makes a noise, Shane jumps up startled. He looks at Ace and gets a look of resentment. Shane, sporting a full blown beard, tilts his head slightly.)
Ace: Shane, Calm down. I’m not here to fight, or to start shit. Sit down. I want to talk to you.
Shane looks slightly confused, as he takes a defensive sitting position.
Ace: Alright. [sits down himself] Now, based on what I can see, you are clearly removed from everything. No electronics, no nothing. [sniffs] Do you even have running water?
Shane: Funny..
Ace: Ah, so you speak. Good. Now then. Onto what I came here for. I’m not going to try and drag your ass back to your family and your responsibilities, though I have half a mind to do so. I’m here because I made a surprise return last week, and saved Stewie’s ass from a beat down. Later on in the night, Jobber spoke with me and said that the only way I can come back, even if he wanted me to, was through someone who hasn’t been around lately. I first tried Will, but obviously couldn’t find him, if I’m sitting here now.
(Shane squints his eyes ever so slightly)
Ace: Trust me, I don’t like this any more than you do. But, the eWa is in shambles. The new talent they have, is crap. The company is slowly falling apart. I couldn’t just sit back and watch it die. Not like that. So I had to come out and do something. Go figure, you’re the only thing keeping me from being in that ring again. Now look, I know that we have had our differences, and our battles in the past, but just think for a moment. Yes, you hate me. Probably more than any other person under eWa contract. But, you know that I am a ratings drawer, and bring in money, and sell merch. You still make money off of the company, regardless if you’re around. So why let it die?
(Ace takes out the papers and places them on the table between the two.)
Ace: Sign the damn papers, Shane. Help me help you. As cliche and as saddening it is for me to say this. You’re a business man. Let’s make a business decision. Get me back in the ring. Get me back to the eWa. I’m not asking for title opportunities, I’m not asking for special favors. None of that.
(Shane looks down at the table where the papers have fallen. Hardcore Theater feed cuts.)

(Shane picks up the pen, staring at the papers. He looks at Ace, who hasn’t taken his eyes off of him. Shane takes a deep breath, sighs, and signs the papers. Ace smiles, and takes them, placing them in his pocket.)
