Kent: Well, Ace, tonight marks history for you. Tonight, you go head to head against Megumi Kudo in your first ever World Heavyweight Championship title defense. First thing is first… alot of people say that if you lose to Megumi, you will go down as the worst World Champ ever. Your thoughts?
Big Daddy Ace: It’s funny you should mention it, Kent. I am by far the worst champ ever to grace this company. Hell I know that I outdo each and everyone in the back that has held this belt. Losing it to Megumi would be by pure mental cause. My mind might trail on the future. But I do not plan on doing that, I know to think of the here and now, which is why I won’t be losing to a woman.
Kent: And another thing that is on everyone’s mind… Just recently you joined up with Subway and Vince McMahon in the EWW and Chaotic Cult. You even defaced the World Heavyweight Championship by spraypainting the letters “EWW” onto the title belt itself! Now, why would you go and do those horrific things when this company has done what it could and got you to the top?
Big Daddy Ace: I knew this would come up eventually… Me joining the EwW was for more then one purpose. First, this is a company that knows and respects talent. They know a champion when they see one. Vince gave me a call and asked me about it. Then I had a talk with Subway. As you all know, me and him go way back. So, Yes, I joined up. I spraypainted the title with the EwW logo on it because I can. To show that I am now with the EwW. The eWa doesn’t respect a champion when they see it. They trash them. The title doesn’t have any respect anymore… and for those who have watched me countless matches into my career, they all know that I have been about one thing… respect. So this company can take what it has supposidly done for me and shove it. I get respect as champion because shit I deserve it. The EwW shows that. And now, I am the leader of it with the Chaotic Cult as my army.
Kent: Very harsh words stabbed at the eWa, Ace. On a personal note, away from the EwW, how would you feel if you lost to Megumi… because inorder to lose, you would have to tap to her…
Big Daddy Ace: Plain and simple… NOT GONNA HAPPEN… This small woman thinks she can make a big man tap? Nope. It’s not logical. Don’t even think about it.
Kent: Finally… the last time we were in Boston, your hometown, you lost. What’s it like to be back here holding that title and having your first title defense here infront of your family and friends?
Big Daddy Ace: Wow… what’s it like? Let me tell you something. It’s the greatest feeling in the world. My family is here. My friends are here. I get to show them all exactly what I love to do. Live. My beautiful girlfriend is here as well. She has been through thick and thin in this relationship because of my profession… being on the road all the time. But she is here to support me live my dream. That’s why I love her so much. I won this title for her, though material, it still means something. I remember growing up watching wrestling here all the time. And to be the top guy, back here, shows something and means a great deal to me.
