HBK:Well Mr. Riker, if that is your real name… I do have something to say and that’s you to Will… I find it kinda of funny that after you spent an entire year on the sidelines, that you just now after beating a guy who retires more times than Terry Funk… That you decide its time to get back in to the spolight and fight for the EWA World Heavyweight Championship… There are many people who deserve this chance before you… Like Daz for example… Hes been really impressive since joining this company… He should be in this spot, before someone who cant even bother to do his job for an entire year…
McConnell: Really, Shawn? That’s cute coming from a guy who lost his smile so he wouldn’t have to job to Bret Hart at Wrestlemania.. But, you’ve never said you weren’t a hypocrite, so I guess I can’t fault you there, can I? Here’s the thing, Shawn. This match? This isn’t for me. This is for the EWA. I mean have you looked at this place since you won that belt? Are you kidding me? The EWA is in the absolute worse shape it has ever been in. And it’s not like I could just stick myself into this match. You know how it works around here. The suits like me and Jobber can’t just stick ourselves into any match.. There’s a system of check and balances. The Executive Committee made this match.. A match between two men who have one of the most storied rivalries in the EWA is exactly what this company needs.. Because unlike the last guy you fought, Shawn, I’ve actually been known to beat the great Shawn Michaels.
HBK:Right the good old “Executive Committee”… Nice to hide behind them for once in your life Will, good stuff I must say. But heres the deal honestly, you and I have so much history people can probably write books about all the things you and I have done to each other and if they did, they would sell them on shop.eWazone.com… But since there hasnt been a book written just yet, we need to add another chapter… Maybe a final chapter to that book at Halloween Hellraiser, where I once again prove how dominant of champion I am…
McConnell: I wouldn’t ask anything less from you, Shawn. So if you and I are going to go round and round one more time at Hellraiser, let’s do it in a match you and I both thoroughly enjoy..
