Mark:The ring has now been set up for the wedding of Alexis Laree and William Steele. These two have been through a lot over the past year.
Rhino: You can say that again. I’m guessing those two standing at the end of the ramp are the extra security Steele has brought in.
Mark:Yea, I talked with him earlier and he told me they are some old friends of his from when he lived in San Diego. The tall one he said is Bill Heckler, and…the fat one is Davie Green.
Rhino: Here comes Mya to the ring, followed by Richard and Lilith.
Mark:The ladies are looking very beautiful in there dresses, and the guys seem to clean up quite nice themselves.
Rhino: Yes they do Mark, and now it looks as if the man of the hour, William Steele.
(“Headstrong” plays as Steele walks down the ramp and up the stairs into the ring.)
Mark: Hey you know Rhino I just realized there isn’t a minister in the ring…did they forget to book one?
Rhino: Nope…look at the stage here comes the preacher right now.
(The preacher runs down to the ring and climbs in. Just as he gets done straightening his clothes, “The Bridal March” begins to play. Everyone turns to the stage as Alexis Laree walks out onto the stage in long white dress being escorted by Chris Parks. They make their way to the ring slowly. They climb into the ring and Alexis walks and stands next to Steele, as Chris takes his place next to Mya)
Minister: Dearly Beloved, we are gathered together here in the sign of God – and in the face of this company – to join together this man and this woman in holy matrimony, which is commended to be honorable among all men; and therefore – is not by any – to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly – but reverently, discreetly, advisedly and solemnly. Into this holy estate these two persons present now come to be joined. If any person can show just cause why they may not be joined together – let them speak now or forever hold their peace.
Marriage is the union of husband and wife in heart, body and mind. It is intended for their mutual joy – and for the help and comfort given on another in prosperity and adversity. But more importantly – it is a means through which a stable and loving environment may be attained.
Through marriage, William Steele and Alexis Laree make a commitment together to face their disappointments – embrace their dreams – realize their hopes – and accept each other’s failures. With mutual care, respect, responsibility and knowledge comes the affirmation of each one’s own life happiness, growth and freedom. With respect for individual boundaries comes the freedom to love unconditionally. Within the emotional safety of a loving relationship – the knowledge self-offered one another becomes the fertile soil for continued growth. With care and responsibility towards self and one another comes the potential for full and happy lives.
By gathering together all the wishes of happiness and our fondest hopes for William Steele and Alexis Laree from all present here, we assure them that our hearts are in tune with theirs. These moments are so meaningful to all of us, for “what greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined together – to strengthen each other in all labor – to minister to each other in all sorrow – to share with each other in all gladness.
This relationship stands for love, loyalty, honesty and trust, but most of all for friendship. Before they knew love, they were friends, and it was from this seed of friendship that is their destiny. Alexis:(Alexis slides the ring onto Steele’s finger.) William Steele, you are now consecrate to me as my husband from this day forward and I give you this ring as the pledge of my love and as the symbol of our unity and with this ring, I thee wed.
Minister: May you always share with each other the gifts of love – be one in heart and in mind – may you always create a home together that puts in your hearts – love – generosity and kindness.
In as much as William Steele and Alexis Laree have consented together in marriage before this company of friends and family and have pledged their faith – and declared their unity by giving and receiving a ring – are now joined.
You have pronounced yourselves husband and wife but remember to always be each other’s best friend.

(Steele and Alexis kiss as the crowd cheers and claps. The rest of the wedding party leave the ring as Steele and Alexis wave to the crowd. They turn to the leave the ring as “Pain” by Three Days Grace starts playing. Alexis and Steele face the stage as they wait to see who is coming out.)
Mark: Now whose music is this?
Rhino: I have no idea, but it appears may have been some miscommunication with the sound guys.
Mark: WAIT! Who is that?
Rhino: Mark, isn’t that James Mack?
Mark: Wasn’t he the one responsible for Lilith’s miscarriage?
Rhino: Yes, it looks like he has some kind of lead pipe in his hands.
(James Mack slides into the ring behind Steele and Alexis. James grins as he raises the pipe and slams it against the back of Steele’s head sending him falling to the mat. James Mack spins Alexis kissing her before jumping from the ring and jumping the ring barrier and running through the crowd.)
Mark: Oh my god! He just knocked Steele out cold, but why?
Rhino: I don’t know Mark, but Alexis is checking on Steele, I can only hope he is alright.
Mark: Me too Rhino, and it appears as if Richard and Chris have gone through the crowd to try and catch James Mack.
(EMT’s and trainers come from the back to check on Steele. Lilith and Mya get back in the ring and help Alexis to the back as Steele is loaded on a stretcher and wheeled to the back.)
