Mark:Accident maybe? Hey guys in the back can we look into this? It looks like camera 4 is stuck.
(Shawn stops putting food on his plate and stands completely still. Shawn spins and kicks the camera without showing his face.)
Offscreen:What do you think you’re doing?!
Rhino:There’s something off here.
Mark:You know something, you’re right Rhino. Shawn has never met a camera he didn’t like.
Offscreen:Ha Ha Ha Hahahah He He Heh Hahaha!
Rhino:That doesn’t sound like Shawn. Has he gone crazy?
(The camera cuts back to ringside. Just as it cuts back the Hardcore Theater comes back to life with an entrance video.)

(The video changes and glass shatters. Disturbed blasts over the PA system.)
Mark:Austin? Wait what’s going on around here. Who’s messing with the production truck?
(The lights go out.)
Rhino:Great. What now?

(That theme cuts and fades into the nWo theme.)
N-N-New World Order.
Rhino:What in the world is going on Mark?
Mark:There must be a glitch in the system or something.
(Spotlights come on and after a long dramatic pause of silence… Scream by Dale Oliver hits over the PA system and a familiar video comes on the Hardcore Theater.)
Rhino” I’m not falling for it again.”
Mark” Will some one get to the production truck already?”
(The camera cuts back to a security guy walking through the halls. He comes up to the production truck and swings the door open he jumps back in shock. The camera shows Sting in a DX t-shirt playfully hitting random button. He looks up with a fake look of shock to match the security guards with his facepaint smeared all over the place and mixed with red.)
Sting:What? Were you expecting someone else?
(Sting jumps up and knocks the camera out of the cameraman’s hands. The camera from its new position on the floor can only pick up the guard and camera man running away from the situation.)
Offscreen:AHAHAHAHA.. Woo! Hahahah!
(Hardcore Theater fades to black as the segment ends. The camera cuts back to ringside with Mark and Rhino.)
Rhino:What in the world did we just witness…

(The Hardcore Theater comes to life. It cuts backstage to the office of eWa’s ECR W.T. Riker with a cheap security camera feed. He is sitting at his desk going over some paper work. There is a light knock at the door. Riker, without looking up from his work responds.)
Riker:Come in.
(The door creeps open slowly. It’s Sting again with a big grin on his face. Riker looks up and sees Sting.)
Sting:Can I have a word Mr. Riker?
Riker:Hey Steve, have a seat. What’s on your mind?
(Sting sits down, his facepaint seemingly more messed up than before and now wearing a Lone Jobber t-shirt.)
Sting:You know, there has been a huge weight on my shoulders since I signed a new eWa contract a few weeks back.
Riker: What do you mean?.. Oh by the way sorry to interrupt but I am loving that whole gimmick you’re doing. Really entertaining stuff. Ratings are through the roof and are only going to go higher now that your presence is known.
Sting:That’s really nice of you Mr. Riker. But may I ask what gimmick you speak of exactly?
Riker:You know, that whole crazy ha ha gimmick.
Sting:You see that’s what I wanted to talk to you about. I wasn’t exactly honest with you Mr. Riker. That isn’t a gimmick. I’m really not well.
Riker:Funny Steve. Look I really don’t have time for this right now. If you come back after the show maybe I’ll have some time to fool around with you.
Sting:Heheh. For a couple of years now I’ve watched the eWa fall into a pit. Heck I’ve watched the entire wrestling industry fall into a pit. The industry that I helped build. The industry that I made popular. Back in the day when it was deemed uncool to watch guys in spandex rolling around. I made it entertainment, Riker. Now I see what I helped build start to crumble at the seems. And as much as I scream at the top of my lungs how to save it… No one listens. Year after year it gets progressively worse. Somewhere along the lines a screw got knocked loose in the good old Stingers head. This is not the act. The little humble Steve Borden that was in here a few weeks ago to sign that eWa contract. That was the gimmick WT. That was the act. Come on. Would you really have hired me if I came in here like this?
(Sting spreads his arms out and looks down at himself. Riker gets a confused look on his face.)
Sting:Might I bring up the observation that you look a little nervous. Its perfectly normal. But as my boss I figured you had the right to know the truth. And the truth is that I am NOT well, and the fact of the matter is, there’s nothing you can do about it. I WILL achieve my goal to make this industry that I built just as entertaining as it was 10-15 years ago if not even more so…… Still with the nervous look! What’s the matter Riker? Don’t you want entertainment? No don’t speak just yet. Let me entertain you with a little story.
(Sting leans back in the chair and crosses his legs and puts his hands behind his head.)
Sting:Back when I first started in this business. I was in a match. A pretty tough one might I add. It was in some little known territorial wrestling federation. But their fan base was loyal. We would go out and give everything we had, blood, sweat, tears, we gave it all. You know why? It sure as hell wasn’t for the $20 a night. It was to see those smiles on those kids faces. Where did they go Riker?! Where did the smiles go?! These kids that come to see their favorite superstars instead come now and see a bunch of hacks. Rookie kids that can’t carry the load and old has beens that don’t want to give the load up. Why so down Riker? Don’t you want to see those smiles return? Why not give me one right now? Why not give me a great big smile Dubbya?
Riker:I don’t quite know what to make of this.
Sting:Smile.
Riker:I don’t want to Steve.
Sting:Smiiile.
Riker:No Steve. I told you, I’m busy, I really don’t have time for these games.
Sting:Why must you be so difficult Riker? Why must you be so serious? You know what I have to do now, right?”
Riker:Go home and get some rest.
Sting:Hah hahaha! I thought I was supposed to be the jokester around here. No but since you won’t show those nice pearly white choppers. Maybe ill just have to MAKE you smile.
(Sting stands up with a smirk on his face.)
Riker:Sting don’t. Don’t you even think about hitting me!
(Sting moves closer going around the side of the desk. He reaches into his pocket.)
Riker:It will be the last thing you do Steve. Don’t you dare hit me!
Sting:Hit you? How would that bring about smile? HaHa HaHa HaHa
(Sting shoves WT Riker’s chair into a blind spot from the camera. A bit of a struggle is heard. Sting comes back into the cameras view.)
Sting:Tah tah for now Mr Riker. Hope you enjoy the makeover.
(Sting opens the door and leaves the room. WT comes back into the cameras view with red facepaint smeared in a smile like pattern across his mouth. Stings maniacal cackle is heard still from the hallway. The camera cuts back to ringside.)
Rhino:I dont think WT Riker is enjoying this Halloween…
Mark:No I dont think so… Lets get back to the ring for our next contest…
