Till that son of a bitch right that (points at Jobber) manipulated me and took the belt.. I was should’ve been happy, Shawn.. The whole damn time, I was miserable and pissed. So I looked at you, Shawn.. I looked at my idol once more and saw how easily you took things. I tried to do that. I couldn’t. Even when we were DX, Shawn.. Me, you and Hunter.. I was still angry. I’m sure you remember the first time I was the black and neon green. Me and you were constantly butting heads.
HBK:Yes I remember you back then Will… I remember you as a kid trying to get yourself over on the hard work of others… Which still seems to be the case..
McConnell: Well let me ask you this, Shawn.. I’m sure each and everyone of you remember the old thong days of my career.. What do you think happened there, Shawn?

Everyone knows that Hall is a big drinker, but how many nights was it him and Kev dragging MY ASS back to the hotel room because I couldn’t even walk? How many days did you have to call my cell to get me up because it was an hour before a show and I hadn’t even gotten out of bed yet? All my absences from this company.. You know what they were.. While these people were told it was because injury, it was because guys like Shane had to send me home because I was endangering EVERYBODY with the way I was.. Its one thing to come out here and do the things we do to each other out.. I was doing that shit and worse in the back.. Then back in 2005, when I got my first TV Title.. I had just kicked everything, I was trying to get shit back in place.. I main evented Glory, I faced you in a match that is arguably my favorite of all time and won the world title in a way I wanted to.. But I still didn’t have it, Shawn.. I wasn’t content or at peace with myself like you are. That’s why I fucking envy you. You took your loss for the World Title like a grain of salt while I faced the most grueling schedule and series of matches any world champion in this company has ever fucking faced.. Through all of that Shawn, you were fucking content and I couldn’t find anything that I enjoyed.
HBK:You know Will after being in this business as long as I have… I have learned that a loss is a loss… But you remind me of who I was years ago Will… Unwilling to face the facts… Unwilling to take defeat… But I have been able to move past it Will… I was able to Find My Smile and accept the fact that on some night… Someone may be better than me… But I knew deep down inside that it was only one night… I knew that the next time I stepped inside a wrestling ring… I would put it all back together and makes things right and that’s what I have done… Its something you need to learn Will…
