(Suddenly, Korn’s ‘Twisted Transistor’ plays throughout the arena as fans go into an uproar of boos and “Stewie Sucks!” chanting. Sure enough, Josh Stewart walks out onto the rampway, carrying not one – but BOTH of the EWA Tag Titles. He gradually makes his way to the ring as his music ends. Once inside, Josh snatches the microphone from the announcer and waits a couple seconds for the boos to stop.)
Stewie: Normally, I’d already be frustrated with you simpletons booing throughout my entrance. But tonight is anything but ‘normal’. You see, while I was away on an important business trip to the Kaiman Islands, a lightbulb turned on in this noggin of mine. For those who don’t remember, Chris Jericho and I defeated Big Daddy Ace and Rob “Vertigo” Parks at Glory to become the Tag Champions. Between that night and now, Chris hasn’t been carrying his own weight. In fact, I think it’s safe to say he hasn’t carried anything at all. Which isn’t surprising. Canadians aren’t ALWAYS the most gifted athletes. Chris demonstrated this for the entire duration of our run as the Champions. I think you moronic parasites must have rubbed off on him or something.
(The crowd begins to chant “Stewie Sucks!” once more as Josh smiles in response)
Stewie: To make a long story short, I took care of the problems Chris caused for me. I eliminated him. I stripped him of his half of these titles. And in the end, the only person Jericho could blame..was HIMSELF! You reap what you sow, Chris. Which is why I’m here tonight. Being that I’m in such a generous mood, I have decided – over the next couple of weeks – to host an open invitational to any man, or woman who believes they can do what Chris could not. Hold their own. See, normally, I’d defend these belts by myself, because let’s be honest. Who is really on the same level as Josh Stewart?
(And again, the crowd erupted into boos.)
Stewie: But as they say, rules are rules. In order to defend Tag Team Titles, you need just that – a Tag Team.
