Shane:Is this what type of person you are William McConnell… You cant even be a man and show up and sign the contract, are you “that” type of person now? Too big to show up and be a man. I am surprised, that you had to send this guy to be here.
McConnell: Shane, Shane, you’ve got all wrong.. As you always so often do. This isn’t because I’m “that guy”. This is a safety precaution. Let’s be honest. If I was there right now, this contract signing would already be over because I would have caved in your skull with the closest object I could find. McConnell: It’s how I always play it, Shane. But I can see why you’re scared. When was the last time you had a match? When was the last time you even put on your gear? Hell, the last time you stepped in the ring, you tucked your tail and you disappeared from this company for.. What, 3 years? I already know how this goes, Shane. I sign your contract, next thing I know you’ve got half the roster in your corner because you have to do whatever you can to get this belt back. And as an exec, you’re doing your job. But as a man, Shane? You.. Are a bitch.
Shane:No McConnell, that’s where you are wrong, you are the bitch. Because you are the one who REFUSED to do the one thing that this company prides itself on and that’s when you hold that championship, you dont run away, you show up every single night like a real man and be the champion who DESERVES to hold that belt and McConnell, years ago, you deserved that belt, now, all you do is to have my stick my boot so far up your ass, you will have trouble sitting down for the next five years…

First and foremost, if we’re gonna have a match at Glory, it’s me and you. Only me and you. No one else. No outside interference. Anyone from the EWA interferes, they’re gone. Arrested, fired, you make the choice. And to facilitate this.. You and I, Shane.. We’re doing this inside Hell in a Cell.
Shane:Which is what I said from the beginning, its me and you, one on one and you wanna go in to the cell, im all for it..
McConnell: There’s more. I don’t want an EWA official reffing this match. Too much bias, you can’t trust them. I know that from what you pulled trying to make Phantom look credible. I want an outside official. Third party, no affiliation to anyone. Impartial, fair and unable to bend to your bullshit to turn this in your favor.
Shane:You got it. What else?
McConnell: I want security on duty at all times. I know there’s a target on my back. I’m not risking having one of your guys try and ruin this. And I want a personal crew to handle my entrance. As a matter of fact, I don’t want any EWA personnel what so ever having anything to do with me while I’m at that arena.
Shane:You wanna be a loner, you can be a loner.
